-
The motivation of this undergraduated thesis is to study and optimize the use of a simple laser-microscope setup for patterning
selected transition metal dichalcogenides. Unlike e-beam lithography or nanoimprinting lithography, our laser
patterning setup is clean-room free and does not require sample preparation of any kind, enabling easy access,
fast and reliable nanostructuration. As a proof of concept of this technique, we devised an application consisting
in fabricating a super-absorber in the whole visible.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 840064
