This study also aims to contribute to the understanding of the early days of hip-hop culture in the city and the mechanisms that allowed young Brazilians to appropriate an entire symbolic construction coming from young African-Americans, and Latin and Jamaican immigrants from the Bronx, in New York.</p> |
