| contents | <p>The aim of this research is to understand the growth pattern of manufacturing industries in Gujarat through spatiotemporal analysis, based on type, location and period. Also it is important to understand how the manufacturing industries in Gujarat have evolved over the period of space and time and its co-relation to the national and state-level policies assessing their relationship. The research analyses whether the policies are getting implemented on ground and are if they are cohesive with reality. This enables spatial planners and policy makers to utilize large databases over the period of space and time and assess the impacts of their policies. The research aims to provide a platform for urban and regional planners to implement similar analysis thereby promoting evidence-based planning and data-driven decision making.</p> |
