| contents | <p>Urdu language was not and is not limited to any particular religion or geographical region. It is spoken and understood everywhere in the length and breadth of our country. Its dialects are different and the style of expression is different. The majority of its readers and speakers have been Muslims, but it has been adopted, refined and served by nations. Not only have they used this language in their writing and reading, but through its use they have tried to promote educational, social awareness and patriotism within their community and society. There is also a great poet Chakbast who, despite being a Kashmiri Pandit and a lawyer by profession, continued to serve the people, although life was very difficult for him. This article discusses important points such as his biography, social services, education of girls, his views on women's rights to education, philosophy of life, etc. That is why Iqbal Ashhar has said so well about him in the popular poem "Urdu is my name, I am Khusro's riddle",</p> <p>The greatness of "Zouq" has given me support</p> <p>The love of "Chakbast" has adorned my dreams</p> <p>"Fani" has adorned the stars on my eyelids</p> |
