RRI is a framework, developedby theEuropeanUnion,whichprovidesgeneral standards toguide thedevelopmentof trustand confidence of the public regarding advances in science and technology, and the development of their participationintheseadvances.ThearticletracesthedevelopmentoftheRRI frameworkand focusesonits educationalcomponent,whosegoalistosensitizeteachersandstudentsinto"RRI-basedthinking"aboutpast and current scenarios regarding the development of science and technology advances.
