- <p>This paper touches on helping children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to create their own concrete poems through shape cut-outs and words written with a pencil on the cu-outs. These children will learn not only the words but also recognize them. In this way, they are taught new or unfamiliar words through creating concrete or shape poems.</p>
